Better than Birks??

This is the look that made even Syd, my fashion diva go, "Huh? Really?" No, I'm not talking about the awesome shirt. I'm referring to the footwear that has become popular at the Junior High.

After the first week of school Gen announced that a lot of the kids at school wear Birkenstocks with short socks... and she thought it was kinda cool. My response to her was, "AAAAGGGHHH!"

I'm not sure if this look is better or worse and she has crazy socks in every color to mix it up each day. Even my Croc wearing friend said, "Even I don't wear socks with sandals!"
