St. Paddy's Day 2012

This was our first St. Paddy's Day parade in Lawrence. Usually it falls on a week day and the parade is held in the afternoon so we haven't been able to go. The schools here even allow the kids to get out of class to go to it. Craziness.

 We hung out at The Casbah while we waited for everything to start. Two hours later, after taking a break for beer and food, we ventured back out to the street to catch the finale.

"What would you do with a drunken sailor...."

 The three teenagers we took with us were easy to find amongst the sea of green with their florescent Aunt Jemima-ish head bands.


They found some interesting Leprechauns all on their own.
