The Big Easy - Part II

Back to the trip! We stayed on Canal Street right on the edge of the French Quarter. Due to the barrage of conferences being held in the city we actually had to stay in three different hotels during the week. Luckily for us they were all three in the same block so we didn't have far to travel and we were able to check in early each time. That was a really good thing Friday morning because I woke up feeling like I wanted to die from being out on Bourbon Street the night before. We went to all the have-to-go places; Oysters at Acme Oyster House, a Hurricane at Pat O'Brien's, a trip to the French Market, St. Peter's Square, a Beignet at Cafe du Monde, a Muffuletta sandwich, a trip to the Garden District, and even a doll from Reverend Zombie's House of Voodoo (in spite of Daniel's protesting). I wondered aloud if I could find a voodoo doll with grey hair and he in turn wondered if he could find one with it's head in a toilet. How rude but touche'
