RAT and Al... Some things never change.
Some people come into our lives and change us in ways that we can never express. This is how I feel about these two women. We were the best of buds for nearly three years. During that time we laughed, we cried, we had mini fashions shows, talked extensively about QVC, and rejoiced the day it was finally cold enough to wear boots! It was during this time that I discovered my love for pink. Ah, the good ol' days. We said we would always work side by side till we either retired or till RAT croaked at her desk which, according to an online questionnaire, was not entirely out of the question! We would wear big, annoying hats someday when we came back for the FB retirement luncheons and we would have Gentry chauffeur us in a big Lincoln Town Car. We learned that we each had our little quirks; Don't take food in the bathroom! Don't make "quote" signs with your fingers! Don't order too much off QVC because the UPS man knows where your husband works & he will deliver the packages there!
Our plan to always work together changed without our control but no executive monkey-monk could ever destroy our bond or our friendship. We may be miles apart but to my fellow pink ladies, please know that I miss you both and think of you every day.
Things you might read on my phone....
I'm sooo unbelievably jealous!

Matt's House-warming Party
Saturday night Matt had a house-warming party to officially celebrate signing his life away to the mortgage lenders! Welcome to our world, Matt. Don't worry, your friends won't let you starve. Everybody had a good time and once we were able to kick the kids off the PS3, we threw it down with a little Guitar Hero.
Joe had absolutely no trouble playing this game and actually got a 94% his first try. If only Rhys and I had followed through on those viola lessons!
We collaborated and still got boo'd off the stage!
It was a nice relaxing evening. The food was good and the beer was cold. Thank you Matt for letting us all invade your space and act like we're 12yrs old again.

Baller
In September our family went to our favorite place on earth, the white sandy beaches of Panama City Florida. We try to make it down there each year but it is not as easy or convenient as it once was. Nevertheless, this year we made it just in time to experience our first tropical depression! Luckily the wind and hard rain came mostly during the night so we were still able to get out and enjoy the beach during the day. Jamie, the girls and I got up pretty early the morning before we were to fly out to go collect sea shells. As we walked a ways down the beach we turned back and saw the most beautiful rainbow. That day the weather was gorgeous and reminded us of why we love this place so much.
